Responsible Sourcing Policy outlines the standards we expect our suppliers and
manufacturing partners to uphold.
This policy applies to suppliers and partners involved in the production
of Board Budder products and reflects our current practices as a growing,
values-driven company. We recognize that responsible sourcing is an ongoing
process and commit to continuous improvement as our business evolves.
1. Labor & Human Rights
Board Budder expects all suppliers to uphold fundamental labor and human
rights, including:
- Employment must be voluntary, and
suppliers must not use forced, bonded, or child labor - Workers must be treated with
dignity and respect, free from harassment, abuse, or discrimination - Employment decisions, including
hiring, compensation, and advancement, must be based on ability and
experience, not on personal characteristics - Workers’ rights to freedom of
association and collective bargaining must be respected in accordance with
local laws
2. Fair Employment Practices
Suppliers are expected to comply with all applicable labor and employment
laws, including:
- Wages and benefits that meet or
exceed legal minimums - Working hours that comply with
applicable laws and regulations - Transparent and fair recruitment
and hiring practices
3. Health, Safety & Well-Being
Board Budder expects suppliers to provide a safe and healthy working
environment by:
- Implementing appropriate
workplace health and safety practices - Taking reasonable steps to
prevent workplace injuries and occupational illness - Providing necessary training and
protective measures appropriate to the work being performed
4. Environmental Responsibility
Environmental stewardship is a core principle of Board Budder’s approach
to product development and sourcing. Suppliers are expected to:
- Comply with all applicable
environmental laws and regulations - Minimize environmental impacts
related to energy use, waste, emissions, and water consumption - Manage chemicals and materials
responsibly and avoid the use of substances known to pose unnecessary
environmental or human health risks where safer alternatives are available
5. Transparency & Ethical Conduct
Board Budder expects suppliers to conduct business with integrity and
transparency, including:
- Accurately representing
materials, components, and manufacturing processes - Maintaining honest and open
communication regarding sourcing and production practices - Providing reasonable
documentation or clarification when requested
6. Community & Local Impact
Where applicable, suppliers are encouraged to:
- Operate in a manner that respects
local communities - Comply with all applicable laws
governing community, land use, and environmental protection - Contribute positively to the
regions in which they operate
7. Implementation & Continuous Improvement
Board Budder maintains direct relationships with its suppliers and
partners and works collaboratively to ensure alignment with this Code of
Conduct. While formal audits may not be conducted across all tiers of the
supply chain at this time, we use supplier transparency, material disclosure,
and ongoing communication to support responsible sourcing practices.
As our company grows, we intend to continue strengthening our responsible
sourcing practices and aligning with evolving industry standards and
expectations.

and is not intended to create contractual or legal obligations. It is designed
to communicate our values, guide our sourcing decisions, and support continuous
improvement within our supply chain.
